Shipping Times and TAT
I’m a one-person operation, so the number of orders I get will greatly impact turnaround time (TAT). My wax melts are mostly poured to order, but other products like scrubs and soaps are made in advance and ready to ship. I try to keep an accurate TAT posted on my website; in general, it’s around ten business days.
Shipping CostsIf your order totals more than 50.00 --- the shipping is free! You can enter the code "FREESHIPPING" at checkout to apply this code, or if you forget, or using another code, I will refund your shipping. Keep in mind that it takes a few days for your refund to appear on your account.
I ship everything via USPS. If your order weighs less than a pound - 16 oz. - it will ship USPS First Class. If it weighs over 16 ounces, I'll ship it USPS Priority. I refund shipping overages if the amount is over $1.00. Truthfully, I wind up eating a lot of the shipping costs. Anyway, if you are ordering lots of things, don't be too freaked out by the shipping -- I'll send it via flat-rate priority and refund you. Promise. This is the only way that makes sense because of the handmade nature of everything I do… soap bars are rarely ever the exact same weight. The package can get heavy pretty quickly -- soap, candles, and wax are all pretty heavy -- so when I pack your order, I look for the best shipping rate, buy the label and issue a refund (if you overpaid) at the same time I send you the tracking. Paypal and Credit card refunds can take up to a week to post to your account.
If I haven’t sent your order and you place another, of course, I’ll combine them and return any shipping costs. Please send me an email… I pack and I send everything in the order I receive them, so I really need a little email alert! Email me at [email protected]
Right now, I am only shipping within the US. International shipping rates are ridiculous. If you live outside the US and *really* want something, contact me, and *maybe* we can work something out. That said, I’d love to start shipping to Canada soon.
Tracking Numbers and Lost Packages
Once the package leaves my hands, it’s in the care of the USPS and you should inquire to them directly using the tracking number.
Please contact USPS with your tracking number. If your package is damaged, please take pictures so you can file a claim. Let me know so we can work out getting you replacement products.
